Family Fun Stuff (in your pajamas, of course)

The object of this post on, 'family fun stuff' is to hopefully provide a few fun family ideas. Our mission is to suggest, while in your cute pajamas, some fun family things to do together.

Game Night

One classic and inexpensive way to enjoy each others company is by having a game night.

The game of choice would depend on your families individual style.

The newest trends are video games, like wii. This is a great choice for interactive and physical fun, but on the other hand a traditional board game can be a blast too. Whatever your gangs decision is, it will be a guaranteed good time.

Sometimes it is just nice not to have to get all dressed or dolled up, to go out. On game night theres more time for bonding, laughing and relaxing.

So, put on your pajamas, pop the popcorn, play your games and enjoy a positive party filled with quality. This family fun idea can be enjoyed as a small group or extended, by invite, to other friends and relatives.

The bottom line is this.......this party idea must be experienced in the comfort of everyones favorite pajamas.

Bowling with cups

I really love it when kids use their own imagination and create a game for a good time. One good example of this is bowling with plastic cups.

This game is still apparently a favorite of my son's, who is now 10. It blew me away when just the other day he bypassed the Wii game,retrieved some plastic cups, found the perfect size ball and then told mom to get ready for a game.

You can't go wrong with this family fun idea since the materials are most likely on hand. it could also entertain your lil' one for hours.

Indoor Picnic

Speaking of fun family activities being indoor. This idea works best in the winter when the kids start showing signs of cabin fever. That's your cue to break out the table cloth. Not only that but the watermelon, macaroni salad, cheese and crackers, subs and anything else that simulates a summer picnic.

The concept is to change up the routine, which is exciting, and give a reminder of warmer weather, to come.

The only difference between an actual summer picnic and this living room version, is that this one is done in pajamas, of course.

Now for family fun stuff, outdoors

Camping Trip

Theres plenty of family fun stuff to do together during a camping trip. This is a wonderful opportunity for dressing a-like in the matching family pajamas. Many relatives already wear matching t-shirts for reunions or just for the fun of it.

Camping is definitely the place to show your family pride and the best part is it's totally acceptable too.

Throw on your sets and head to the bingo hall, the movie or just sit by the fire together. This is also the perfect time for a photo moment, and you may just end up with that picture perfect family holiday card.

All-Inclusive Carribean Resort

Ok, so camping isn't for everyone so if your one of those families, we get it. A camping trip would be considered 'roughing' it, a bit too much.

Well, thats ok, if your looking to upgrade, may we suggest a different type of family fun idea? A kid friendly all-inclusive resort it's jam-packed with fun family activities.

The joy of an all-inclusive is not only the great package deals but you get a lot of bang for your buck too.

All the fun is included and we mean all, as in everything. The meals, snacks, top shelf drinks, water sports, kid camp and (at Beaches Reosrt)a xbox video game room. This type of vacation, especially with kids, takes the burden off the wallet.

There are no excuses for skimping, this is the time to try new things, whether its a different dish or new water sport. This concept is a hit with the kids. They think it's so neat being able to order their own virgin pina colada or ice cream cone at their very own swim-up bar.

After a fun-filled day of activities it's time to retire the kiddies into their matching pajamas and go watch the entertaining evening show. What a way to get the kids to unwind and actually be excited about putting on their PJ's.

The resort, like camping, is a very acceptable place to show off family pride and dress a-like. This is the perfect photo moment, may we suggest, either on your balcony or out by the palm trees. This picture will work well as your family Christmas card or even to send to us. (hint,hint)
